My Salad Days

In my salad days, I always believed that every action in the world has its own consequences. And as I grew up, my belief becomes stronger and stronger. Positive consequences became motivations of everything I did and negative consequences became moral lesson of my life.

‘Study hard’ for a happy living life. ‘Don’t tell lies’ for being a trustworthy person.

Eventually I met many study-hard-follower people and they were not living happily. I also met some trustworthy liars. And each such person made me little more anxious. They ate my salad.

And I grew up. Aye! From my point of view, growing up is to believe all your beliefs are unbelievably stupid in the real world. And at some point of time, you start molding your beliefs. You become ‘flexible’ and hence adult. Have you ever seen a non-flexible adult? A rigid adult? Some people who are strict with their principles, we call their behavior childish. Being stubborn is a child-thing.

And that’s what I hate about the world. First they try to eat my salad. And If I don’t give it to them, they say I’m behaving like a kid. Actually, this is also a plan to consume my salad. They are using a furious weapon named ‘ego’. Everyone is egoistic by nature. So, if you are in teen+ age and someone calls you a kid, you would love to do against his image of yourself. You will fall in the trap and you will give your salad up.

But, there are some people who love their salad more than their ego. This post is dedicated to those. (I’m one of them. Hey partner…! Are you…?)

Life is a full course dinner. And if you want to enjoy it, don’t let anyone alter with it. Eat to fulfill your taste, desire and hunger.

Thou shalt have no dessert until they respect salad.

hmm, the comparison between the childhood / innocence is uncanny. I didn't get the meaning when i was reading it for the first time. So i think that itself shows the quality of the post. Pretty good writing.

Intriguing really... but may I ask what of those who offer to share their salad? Do they not also require some notice? Just a thought... hehe
